Hoagie

Synopsis: A strange egg and the impish creature it hatches can grant great power, for good or ill. It falls into the hands of Brendan Bean, a kindly family man. As a friendship for the ages develops the deranged soldier Benny Piazza and his ever loyal militia seek to reclaim the magical homunculi.
Hoagie is the addlepated creation of Matt Hewitt and Ryan Morley, a mutant made from the spare parts of 90s trash piles like Munchie and Hobgoblins,
with a dollop of practically accomplished mayhem and horror. A DIY monstrosity made with very little money but a whole lotta love, hopefully it's unlike anything you've ever been subjected to before.

After a successful fundraising campaign Hoagie was struck to 35mm,
with screenings TBD. The film has screened at Another Hole in the Head Film festival in SF and at a Dead Meat sponsored screening at Vidiots in Los Angeles.

A physical blu-ray release is available from Art Label through Vinegar Syndrome here.
